UC Davis has a 16.3 MW solar farm which generates 33 million kilowatt-hours per year, about 14% of the campus’s electricity needs, and reduces the University's carbon footprint by 9%. 

The West Village is a 34-acre, zero-net-energy community, complete with 5 megawatts of Maxeon panels on rooftops and solar canopies.
